Golf gti mk5 misfire someone help

I have a 2007 golf gti mk5 I brought it recently the car was misfiring really badly I changed he thrust sensor and that has made it better but cylinder 4 is still misfiring I also changed the coil packs and the spark plugs and it is still the same. I was told by the previous owner he put a used high pressure fuel pump could that be the issue can someone help me thanks

I had the same issue with a cylinder number 4 misfire. I also threw some coil packs and ngk plugs at it with no luck. Ended up being bad carbon buildup on all the cylinder valves and number 4 had it the worst. If your vehicle is high mileage i would say try a de-carb on the valves and go from there.
