I'd love to see it go to someone else in the golfMKV community!
For sale: 2007 Volkswagen GTI that’s been daily driven and tracked for the past 4 years. I built it with quality parts that would be perfectly suited for both daily driving and track use. The car has served me well for the past 4 years and has been an awesome platform for HPDE. It is right at the border between TTE and TTD and can be classed in either with some small tweaks. In SCCA I have run in STX. Here are the specs:
Engine:
-72,xxx miles
-DSG transmission
-APR Stage 2 93-octane software (228 whp, 291 ft.lbs – see dyno graph below)
-Neuspeed intake
-BSH catch can
-GHL 3” turbo-back exhaust
-Forge DV
Wheels, Tires and Brakes:
-17x8” TRMotorsports MT1’s (17.5 lbs each)
-255/40/17 Dunlop Dirreza Z1 Star Specs
-Stock calipers, and rotors
-Goodrich stainless steel brake lines
-Bildon caliper bushings
-Hawk HPS pads
-Castrol SRF brake fluid
Suspension:
-Bilstein PSS9 coilovers
-Dan GSR 28.5mm rear anti-roll bar
Body:
-Reiger rear apron
-painted OEM side skirts
-R32 tail lights
-13% window tint
Interior:
-6 pt. weld –in custom rollbar by LM24 (1.75x0.120" DOM SAE 1020 mild steel- NASA CCR compliant)

-Schroth 6-point harnesses (OEM 3-point belt also intact)
-removed rear bench seat
-Longacre rollbar padding
-Wink 5-panel rearview mirror
-AWE in-vent boost gauage
The good:
-Oil changed every 5k miles with recommended Castrol 5w40
-DSG serviced at 40k miles (flushed and filter changed)
-Cam follower changed at 40k
The (not so) bad:
-Plastic drip tray under the motor is missing (not essential)
-Small dent in hood, multiple tiny chips from gravel/road debris, small door ding on passenger door
-Front bumper was repainted and is slightly darker than the rest of the car
Typical Lap Times:
Sebring - 2:41 (Dunlops)
Summit Point Shenandoah circuit- 1:47 (RA1’s)
Daytona- 2:20 (Nittos)
