For sale is a ready to use, full Thule roof rack/bike carrier system for a MK V GTI, Golf or Jetta (2dr or 4dr). Was used on my 2007 GTI for about 4 years. Shows normal signs of wear and tear but all parts are in great working order.
Includes:
1. Thule 400XT Aero Feet (4)
2. 50" Crossbars (2)
3. Thule Fit Kit 2141 for Mk 5 GTI (4)
4. Thule Big Mouth 599XTR Bike Carrier (2)
5. 6 working locks (4 for aero feet, 2 for the Bike Carriers) have all keys and additional locking mechanism
Recently bought a Tiguan and I used the rack the day before I traded the GTI in (it was a sad day)
The 2 Thule Big Mouth Roof Mount Bike Racks: one is about 3 years old, the other 4 years old. Very sturdy, high quality bike rack that I've used to carry both full suspension mountain bikes and road bikes.
Looking to get $450 for the entire rack, bike carriers, and locks. And preferably local pick-up (located in Philadelphia but willing to travel/meet half way). Also willing to part out if need be, PM for individual pricing. More pics available upon request. Thanks!
