For anyone who has Dipped Huffs

Ready to race!
Thinking of friggin around with my huffs this winter since they are off the car. Problem is when they go back on the car in the spring I need to replace one tire. Just wondering for those of have dipped their wheels and then had a tire change, how'd the dip hold up when getting the tires mounted to wheel?

I don't have huffs myself, I have the stock rims for my 07 Rabbit. As soon as i bought the car i knew i needed new tires but decided to dip them first anyway. A week later I got my new tires mounted and it peeled the dip around the edge of the rim so I had to dip them again. I don't know if it would've held up better if they were dipped longer or not.

If you're dipping them now just to see how they look i suggest only doing one. If you can hold off dipping the wheel that needs the new tire I definitely would.
