Ok, found a pic of my car. Looking at the oil pan, it seems to me that the pump from my car is installed in mirror as compared to the one from your pic (this is why I asked about RHD or LHD)

Ok chaps, back with some real info. Just got the latest ETKA so I pulled out some codes following the VIN of my car and a friend's mk6 R20 wich has the additional radiator installed. Here we go :

1) 5 > 1k0 121 156 BA or BJ > there are 2 codes here, both for hot climate, both under my VIN and I've attached a pic with the explanations below each of them, maybe someone could tell the difference

My mk5 GTI AXX > doesn't have it at all of course

Friend's R20 > 1k0 121 156 BJ

2) 7 > 1k0 121 156 BC

My mk5 GTI AXX > doesn't have it at all of course

Friend's R20 > 1k0 121 156 BC

3) 10 > 1k0 121 087 J > I believe this is the quad connector Daigo was talking about

My mk5 GTI AXX > N 906 929 01

Friend's R20 > N 906 929 01 > as you can see the R20 has the same code as me here wich means mine should be ok but I'll order the other code just to be sure since this one is not expensive

4) 15 > 1k0 965 561 D

My mk5 GTI AXX > 1k0 965 561 G

Friend's R20 > 1k0 965 561 G > again same code as me so mine should work also. This time I'll keep my pump since it's about 150Euro

5) 34 > 1k0 121 064 A

My mk5 GTI AXX > doesn't have it at all of course

Friend's R20 > 1k0 121 064 A

6) 37 > 1k0 122 051 BC

My mk5 GTI AXX > doesn't have it at all of course

Friend's R20 > 1k0 122 051 GP > different code, I'll stick with the one with BC as this one might be vehicle specific (GP doesn't show under my VIN either)

7) 40 > 1k0 121 212 C

My mk5 GTI AXX > doesn't have it at all of course

Friend's R20 > 1k0 121 212 C

8) 41 > 1k0 121 333 A

My mk5 GTI AXX > doesn't have it at all of course

Friend's R20 > 1k0 121 333 > different code, doesn't show under my VIn so I'll go with the one ending in ''A''

9) 43 > 1k0 122 291 M

My mk5 GTI AXX > 7m3 122 291

Friend's R20 > 1k0 122 291 M

10) 47 > 1k0 121 101 CB or CC > CC is the one that shows under my VIN as optional part for hot climate

My mk5 GTI AXX > doesn't have it at all of course

Friend's R20 > 1k0 121 101 CC > he has CC either and I should be going with CC either since it's the one under my VIN

11) 46 > 1k0 122 101 DK > this is the code I now have on my car and there's no refference in the list posted by daigo about this one but under my VIN there are several options for hot climate (see pic below). Optional codes for this one are > 1k0 121 101 CA, 1k0 122 101 EA and 1k0 121 101 CC > really confused here as I don't know if I need this one and why so many codes ! The R20 has 1k0 122 101 JT wich is neither of the above 4 so it doesn't help at all !

12) 35 and 36 > N 015 082 13 and N 909 083 01 > some nuts (screw) that have the hot climate mention and I don't have on my car now. They can be seen in one of the attached pics and may come with the radiator !? I will oreder them just to be sure since they cannot be too expensive ! The R20 has N 015 082 13 (1pcs) and N907 611 02 (1pcs). Last one is different as you can see !

No.46, I think the difference is the length of radiator feed pipe.
You can see the 2 way joint shown at No.43 set (no.44 o-ring & no.45 clip), that is not equipped with stock AXX cars. Probably my dealer cut the original pipe and adjusted the length so that is why it was not on my list.

Ok, here's the pic of the R20

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

The r20 has that ''46'' wich includes ''42'', ''43'' and ''47''. I've got ''43'' and ''47'' on my car but with different codes, but I don't have the ''42'' T-shaped connector. As you can see, that pipe is one piece on my car and 2 pieces + that connector between them on R20. On the lower branch of the ''42'' connector enters the ''4'' pipe (or ''4'' enters connector ''10'', I see 2 options on the drawing for ''4''). I've also got the ''4'' but on my car can only enter ''10'' I guess !

R20 has both ''10'' and ''42'' connectors and from the drawing the hose number ''4'' could enter any of them

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

My GTI has only ''10'' and it also has 2 lines, one that goes to ''10'' and one that goes nowhere (same path as on the other drawing but there's no connector to enter there)

ETKA sometimes makes us confusing.

Blue route shows stock AXX plumbing, and red shows piping with secondary radiator.

From the pic it doesn't seem like "4" could be directly connected to "1" through the blue line. If it's like this, I don't need to cut my hose in 2 and introduce the 42 connector, isn't it ?

It does not directly connect into "1". And this "1" kit is for vehicle with manual shift only. Dealer tech told me that main radiator outlet location is different between DSG.

Also, "4" does not goes into "42". ETKA is wrong. "47" pipe goes into "42".
"4" goes into "10" same as stock, which has triple connections.

I've got manual so I have the outlet on the upper left of the radiator (on the drawing) and I have the "1" kit. Now, on the pic, "10" connector has 4 outputs (branches) for "7", "5", "4" and "1". Now, if "4" enters "10" on both car models, what enters in the lower branch of the "42" connector and do I need that connector afterall ? :)

"47" goes into "42" lower branch, or the other red circled lower branch. I don't have "42", mine has the other circled joint. Opposite side of the hose "47" goes into secondary radiator which ETKA picture is wrong.
