I thought I explained this in this very thread, I guess it was another one...
Hilfloskind is German for Helpless Child. I didn't come up with this for that reason, though. There is a song from one of my all time favorite bands, Swans, called Helpless Child from their landmark final album, "Soundtracks for the Blind". They released a German single for a few tracks and on it the song was titled in German. As an ode to a band that shaped so much of what I've come to know about music, I've used the German version of this song title as my screen name across multiple sites, forums, etc... for years.
