Exhaust clunking after R32 rear conversion

Clunks how? And where do you hear it coming from?

There's this steel part you have to bend (hit with hammer) so it doesn't touch your exhaust ( the Y pipe for R tips)

Do u mean bend the actual exhaust pipe ? It seems to be the part that the y section comes into a single pipe and its hitting the rear axle. I think I know the steel part you mean that needs bent it's right at the openings at the end ? I've already knocked that out the way.

What's the best way todo this then kinda hard to get a hammer into that space ?

Heavier hammer and two hands would make it easier
