European LED Tail Lights failing

European LED Tail Light Set ES#10177 installed 2010.
I have these installed for 5 years with no problem. They are awesome.
But noticed today that the amber parts/turn signals are starting to burn out:iono: some even are flickering.
Just small sections are not working 2 or 3 rows are out.
Is anyone having this same problem?

Other people have had this issue too.

I need a new drivers side tail light, you don't happen to just need a passengers side, do you? If so we could split the cost of a new set...

I wish that would work out great, but both of mine are starting to fail.

Bleh, that sucks. Well if you want a set that works but the passengers side fogs up, lemme know.

There was a thread here or on the Vortex that was quite long about people having issues with burnt out LED's. The gist of it was that you're SOL and the only way to fix it is with a whole new set. People were trying to contact Valeo (the manufacturer of them) but since they're OEM they weren't getting anywhere.

I don't have any burn out's yet **knock on wood**

Thanks for the info. Yea I figured that I'm on my own with this. I did find out from ECS Tuning the they are not made for VW OEM anymore just through Valeo only.
