You don't dont need to remove the ebrake for the install.

yea the ebrake doesn't need to be removed just yank it allllllll the way up and you will have enough room to move the console out of the way

Dude, I didn't unbolt my handbrake at all. Just used 2 hands and pulled it as high as possible. Glad you got it done tho.

I bought the hatch pop off of ECS when they emailed me a sale on the kit.
