Hello everyone ,

I'm looking at chipping my 2010 GTI . Does anyone know a company called V-Tech ? Can you comment on the cars overall performance after the work was done.

No.

Don't cheap out on it!

It's only $650 anyways.

APR, REVO, GIAC, Unitronic.

That's it, nothing else.

Actually for a 2010 it's only GIAC or apr. The others don't have the software available yet...

Don't V-Tech make phones? Or is it a Honda thing?

Go with APR, the fully loaded sale going on right now is a hell of a thing.

I have a Mk6 and I went with APR, the results are just sheer awesome.

My local dealer also matched US pricing because of the strong Canadian dollar. Talk about incredible!

Read the pros and cons on golfmk6.com. The 2010 ECU has to be literally cracked open to upgrade due to VW's new security lock-out which aftermarket tuners have been unable to unlock.
If your dealer is not mod friendly, they will be able to tell by visual inspection that the ECU casing has been messed it...if the security bolts and silicone sealant isn't replaced as it was from the factory.

It has to be opened? It's not done through the port like every other years?
