Electrical problems!

I didn't know where to put this. It's an electrical problem I guess but the Electronics thread seems to be more for in-car entertainment stuff....anyway...Anyone have problems with their passenger door electrical system? For example, pinch protection feature functioning even when there's nothing being pinched, lights not coming on when passenger door is opened, or the vehicle locking even though the passenger door is still open? I know it's a feature of Volkswagens to be able to push the lock button while the passenger still has the door open but it won't fully lock and honk until the door is closed, however my car will lock fully even with the door open. Sort of worries me since you can open the passenger door and the alarm system will not go off. Also, anyone elses rear window wiper go on and on after starting the car unless you turn it on and then off? Anyone else experiencing this or know a fix for it other than going to the dealership?
