Do you name your cars?

my girlfriend named her old saturn, Bob Marley and named her now car which is a mazda protege, Ricco Suave lol.

I name my cars after hot women haha. named my convertible Adriana, after Adriana Lima, the victoria secret model. my gti is probably going to be named scarlett after scarlett johansson

Blazer = Helen
Firebird WS6 = Abby

My girlfriend thinks I'm nuts because I refer to them by name sometimes.

1996 Infiniti G20: Mater (Cars movie). 150k miles and still runs.
2003 Saturn Ion: Iona. She was boring with no personality at all.
2008 VW GTI: Speedy Gonzalez. Small car yet fast as hell.

in fact, I knew that was going to be the name before I even got it - the morning I went out car shopping I thought that name sounded nice and thought the car matched the name pretty well... weird, but it worked out okay.:iono:

I called mine Elaine for the record. I don't refer to it as my car or as the GTI. I like to throw people off. It's like paying child support every month on it for the next five years. Instead of 18. At the end it's like paying for a kid. Might as well name it.

I do sometimes call her by a middle name Gitte, short for Briggette.
