Does anyone know where to get just the chrome clip on emblem? I cracked mine slightly and it bent a littlwe so it doesn't pop back on all the way

don't know, but are there different rear badges on different Golfs?

mine is a VW Golf 2005 2.0 TDI 140BHP and its rear badge is like the badge in this thread: http://www.vwgolf.net.au/showthread.php?832-DIY-Remove-Rear-VW-Emblem

I have bought this item: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Golf-MK5-5-V-...&ps=63&clkid=688931320443377334#ht_3523wt_905 but I think I'll have to go in a DIY process to install it since it seems that it is not the same 'version'

That is not you your golfer. IIRC, it was some buddy out side the USA. Did his badge in green.

Just wanted to post my thread here to further help you guys , it seems like 06-07 models have a different style of clips (and maybe metal vw as well) and the 08 and up to at least MK6 MYs have the same style i have

i have a 2006 with the chrome emblem that wraps around appears to be 1 piece is it possible to swap to the multi piece one so i can change the color? has anyone tried?
