DIY - Plastidipping your rims

i did mine and didnt liek it... taking it off is even harder... AND more time consuming

yeaa idk i prob wont take it off till winter(hopefully) but anyways what if i just sprayed it with a power washer? high pressure= plasti dip gone?

ehh i dunno had it one for maybe a week and was ovber it and it definetly weas not going to peep off... i had to take a whole thing of goo-gone to it :/ it took about 4 hours just to take off and get them back to normal (getting the plasti-dip out of the lug nut holes it a bitch)

it will last, it will discolor pretty quick though with all the dirt, grime, and break dust that the wheels get

just gonna clean them a lot.. do the best i can. btw those little plastic lug covers on the Charleston's sure do fuck with the plasti dip:/ thank god u cant see it cause its behind the covers

No I think they will last really well, just wanted to confirm that before I do mine.

I have had rims in the past powder coated gloss black but I am sure that is a far stronger process.

As long as the coating lasts a year I am happy to redo it once a year.

Maintenance is going to drive you nuts though. Our rides dish up an amazing amount of brake dust with the stock pads.
