Hello,

I ordered recent this kit from aliexpress for my Golf 7.5 MJ 2018:

https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/32866483455.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dGwgYv4

Instead off install the antenne at the back of the car i installed the antenne besides the left foglight (more easy for install the wiring)

Works but it has standard alarm setting of 2.3Bar (33 Psi) but in de headunit i (still) don't have readings...

I'am going to try to get these readings available but not sure if it will succeed with ODBeleven.

For changing these alarm settings you need VCP which i dont have...

You do know the TPMSystem was designed for the receiver to go in the back for a reason. so the system knows which are the front and which are the rear tires.. now your rears are the front and front are the rears.

You can do it also with ODIS - E and VAS5054

What does a midline or highline have anything to do with it. I'm referring to the receiver location on most VW's they are in the rear for a reason.

Does the high use a different receiver than can differentiate from being mounted in the front or back? Only way to know if his location works is if he lets air out of his Right Front tire and if it shows his left rear low then that receiver has to go to the rear. Or does the high have a receiver at every wheel.. There are so many setups.. 🤣

Yes.

TPMS Low uses the KESSY receiver.
TPMS High uses four individual trigger units, one for each wheel.

I was blissfully unaware of this middle ground of TPMS Mid which as you correctly mentioned depends on signal strength to a known destination.

Admittedly I did not check to see which version of TPMS was being discussed here, and for that I apologise sincerely.

Your apology is accepted :) So then you see since he mounted the single receiver on the front his front to back and left to right will be reversed. I'm not doing that receiver at every wheel lol that looks costly.

I purchased the Chinese version of TPMS. It uses a high frequency receiver so it doesn't need to be fixed to the back of the car, it just needs to be fixed in the driver's seat. It's still on the way. I am waiting to install

No · I am not connected. I bought it myself in China. It is easy to install. The receiver does not need to be mounted outside the car. wait for me to install
