Cup holder clip broken

Hi there,

My clip the holds the VW bottle opener in place has broken and therefore will not hold my bottle opener anymore.
As it is only one clip that broken is there a repair kit possible without changing the whole unit as that is what VW have advised me?

ur stuck man, either u can buy a used one and use it for parts or u can just buy a new one ;-(

Sorry about ur bad luck, VW likes making people buy a whole new uint instead of just replacing parts....WTF....... ;-(

I bet there's quite a few of us in the US who upgraded to euro cupholders that would be happy to send you our US ones.

He has the euro cup holder, so doubt he'd want our ghetto US one.

However I do miss how the US one would hold my giant 55gal drums of coke, where the Euro one only wants the "medium" drinks.
