Crunch!?

So, I was driving today on a long stretch of backroad, coasting at around 55mph. I go to throw it into 6th gear, and I hear a loud crunch. It sounded almost identical to how it sounds when you grind a gear. It completely scared the sh&* out of me, but I just figured I was lazy and didn't have the clutch in all the way or something and just grinded it. So, I put it back in 5th and try the shift to 6th again, making sure the clutch is to the ground. It crunches again. Wtf? Only happens with 6th gear and happens every time. It doesn't want to go into gear and makes this horrible crunch sound. :iono:

i doubt the chip caused that, sounds like bad syncro

I'm not saying the chip caused it, but it is better to take your chip off when you need your tranny fixed under warranty, ya dig?

Your fast was hungry so I fed it a Crunch bar when it was at Royal a couple weeks ago. I didn't know he'd have trouble digesting.:laugh:
