Blacked out GTI!!!!

Yesterday I blacked out the wheels, front VW emblem, rear VW emblem, and smoked my tail lights,sidemarkers,and mirror blinkers. I used Krylon ultra flat black for the wheels and emblems, and smoke paint for the tails, sidemarkers and blinkers.
This project took all day. The most pain in the ass part was sanding the wheels. It took forever. All i need to do now is slam that baby with coilovers and install the GHL R32 style TB exhaust if it ever comes in the mail . I ordered a month ago:frown:. Enjoy the pics:headbang:

no, but i did cover them with painter's tape. Or do you mean did i take the wheels off the car? yes took the wheels off.

Those 3 are with in my budget. Or i could wait and get PSS9s, but it doesnt seem like you can get much slammage out of those. I need tire tuckage.:thumbup:

yeah i got lazy during the winter and used an automatic car wash. now its all scratched.

...just an advise...paint them mirrors black!...side markers red...and polish them tails!....will give much better look!

Looks very aggressive. Day light pictures would really be much better to show all the details. Hope the Polizei don't stop you for these tails, probably illegal in Germany.

put me over the edge about whether or not to paint the wheels, im doing it weds morning all day but im putting some clear coat over the black cause im not a fan of the flat black look for wheels.. looks great on the red though

u gotta do the inside trim too other than that looks good.
