AWE dv + Forge spacer doable?

I have a 08 ko4 gti with the awe DV recloation kit.

I was wondering if its possible to replace the tan part in the picture with the forge Spacer or would i have to get a entire dv kit

So little update, i got it on and working just fine, until i start driving a bit. When i come to a stop the car will just randomly shut off and the battery light comes up.

i took it for a 10 minute drive and the car shut off a total of 7 times.

i then took off the spacer and every thing was fine again. Not sure what that was all about though. i may have to get a whole DV unit
