About 13 years ago i started autocrossing my 2008 mkv gti. I added sticky 17x9" rims front and rear to it not much else other than very large rear sway bar. Very fast and fun. Great for sports oriented people. Same philosophy. i would see a person spin their car and then just sit there for minutes waiting in their car after a spin to recover from their injury or fake injury. Must have been very hard to start again after making a mistake just like in any sport. Have not done it in a few years, still is fun if not taken too seriously like any sport in life.
