audi tt 9 spoke alloys. centre caps wont stay in

hello, i recently got a set of 4 auti tt 9 spoke alloys for the mk5 golf. Came with 4 centre caps although only 1 actually stays in. noticed only 1 cap has a metal inner ring on the inside of the caps around the plastic clips. anyone know a way around this or where to get some of these metal rings.

Just wrap the clips in some masking tape to make the area a little larger. Should hold after that. Then just get a Stanley on the inside of the wheel and trim the excess off.
