It states that for the GTI its a drop of 30mm, R32 is 25mm with the 29176 (doesnt really specify whether 1 or 2, mentions both) spring, however on the same page it also says that if sports suspension is already fitted - which is the standard I believe for GTI and R32, then deduct 10 to 15mm in drop.
So you'd then be looking at 29176-1 (30mm) a drop (for a GTI) of 15 to 20mm and for 29176-2 (35mm) it would be between 20 to 25mm drop for the GTI, would be less by 5mm for the R32 going by what was stated.
Only just recently scored a MKV GTI so have been looking at what people have been doing over the years.
