Anyone recommend free audio software???

Hey everyone, I'm just getting back into mixing d'n'b and was wandering if anyone can recommend some free software i can use to record my mixes using my PC (line in - from mixer)??

'tis unfortunate you don't have a Mac! Garage Band would be the ticket for ya.

ProTools had a free version of their software available a while ago, not sure if they still do or not.

HERE is a good place to start looking though. Can't help you much more than that though, I'm a Mac daddy

i have a mac powerbook too, but its only running 10.2.8 i imagine thatll be a problem to get garage band. is garage band free then?

Pro Tools free???? thats madness, pro tools is sick!
