I think defense05 is going to be up in Tampa this weekend to install a k04 on his GTI, he has all the parts ready for the install.

call up VapMotorsports! they can do a complete k04 kit with install and tune included for 2500 and the price on the BT is also great

Thanks for the info. This price is for just the turbo kit though, none of the other goodies they recommend. From what I've read here and elsewhere, you need a hpfp (1k), fmic, (1k), injectors (I think), stage3 ecu, hoses, pipes, etc. driving up the cost. Plus labor of course.

Yeah both of them pretty much have maxed out their k03 on their 2+ setup, so the injectors and turbo were main things for them. From your sig, you have 2+ already with the HPFP?
They also DIY'ed the turbo install over a course of a week.

If you have stg 2+ then u have hpfp upgrade. (Or should)
And you can get away with cheaper s3 IC

No hpfp yet but not having any fuel cuts either. Was told to hold off on the fp until I go all the way with it.
