amp problem

so today while driving to the beach burger meet. i was sorta bumping my music and all of a sudden my subs just cut. i feel the amp and its burning hot. i thought i just overheated it, so i turn off the subs and i let it sit through the meet prolly 2.5 hours. subs dont work when i go back. the top quarter part of the amp is still super hot. i have it here in my room and i dont see anything wrong with it. ive smelled it, checked fuses and the insides. it turns on but nothing happens... whats going on. i dont even want to turn on the radio in my car cuz it sounds like shit now...:thumbdown:

Try to barrow someone's amp to test if your sub is working. Have you checked your +/- wires leading from amp to sub?
