Try this...
-Start the vehicle.
-Turn the steering wheel one turn to the right and one turn to the left.
-Drive in a short distance straight line on a level surface at a speed not higher than 20 km/h.
-If the steering wheel is straight during the test drive then stop the vehicle with the wheels pointed straight.
-Ensure that the steering wheel is not moved again.
-Keep the engine running and do not switch off the ignition.
-System voltage at least 12.0 V.

I have tried this several times but I can remember my mechanic telling me system voltage was 11.8 ! Could this be the problem

When I first got the car over a year ago I disconnected the battery and got this same light. I then done the list of instructions u have posted and the light went straight out after doing it.

Anyone else ? Could this be a low voltage issue ?

When I insert key and turn on, reading 11.6 to 12.2 v in Polar FIS+.
While driving, Voltage shows 13.7 to 14.2.

Scan code and post! Someone might help!

have you driven the car much since disconnecting the battery?

Every time you disconnect the battery, the cars computer reset's itself. You have to drive it for a while and the lights will eventually turn off. You might notice that your auto-down windows won't work either. You have to hold the button down to get them to go down all the way. This will all fix itself as you drive the car.
