Hi Guys,
For months I've been having an issue with my car. its a 2005 MK5 GTI. If I'm driving aggressively taking corners sharp i sometimes get 3 beeps, the esp, abs and handbrake lights flash, once this happens I lose abs and traction control (which makes it super easy to lose control). Also, if I'm at a standstill and floor the car to where the wheels spin excessively the same happens. When this happens i have to pull off, restart the car and the lights go away. I have replaced pads, wheel speed sensors, change brake fluid but the issue persists. At times if I have to brake hard in the case of an emergency the same issue happens. I scanned the car and get the same error every time. i am really hoping its not a faulty abs unit. Can you guys assist?
Weirdly, if I turn off the ESP and do a launch i can spin the wheels without the the lights coming up.
