Hard to say at this point. Not much data out there and they aren't legal for SCCA Solo Nationals this year so its going to take an official Tire Rack test to come up with some psuedo scientific data. Dunlop says they are faster than the Z2, obviously, but how much so remains to be seen. The Z2 is listed as the fastest dry tire according to Tire Racks last test on their 30 second course but the AD08R, Z2, Rival, and Re-11a were all within a half second of each other. Hopefully they have another test soon and include the RS3 in the mix.

Why go taller? I'd say 225/40's not 225/45's that's a lot of side wall. Unless you're wanting your rear end to slide out, then I see what you're saying.
