Finally found someone to install a Super Charger on my R 32. An he' right her in the San Gabriel Valley. Going to hook up with him on Friday and check out his shop.

I rode in a MKIV R32 with a Vortech blower and it was very quick. Get a water meth system on it and you will be able to enjoy it even in our hot summer weather.

Where did you get the kit from? Carlicious parts?

Jezze269 and I got the stage 3 kit , he is almost done with the install just needs to get the UM 550cc Tune and he will be done , he is doing his own install.

Mine on the other hand is being sponsored by local VW dealer currently waiting for a new short block since the first one got destroyed from a really bad tune from a UK based tuner.

Who is going to tune your ECU and DSG, and which stage did you choose ?

Is is possible to make this "stealth", i.e. not obvious to the non-expert if the hood is popped? Will the whine of the supercharger tell everyone in 500m radious that the engine has been supercharged?

ps. Italy has really draconian laws about tuning ... the worst possible outcome is confiscation of the vehicle! :mad:

not 500meters, but 15meters :)

i have a swiss document, so you wont have problems with laws.

but you cant mount it stealh. you will always need to adapt it to the beltdrive and force induction in the intake :) if the cop is not totally stupid, he will get, that the car is modified.

I would assume that an R32 is rare enough here so it's highly unlikely that they have seen how the engine should look like. Would it be possible to place some kind of a plastic cover over the belt-drive to make things look OEM-like?

Is the Swiss-document similar to a TUV-approval?

i also of course have german tuv documents :)
i just thought maybe swiss documents will be better.

no no cover.. just get it to the tuv, they will set you up with correct papers
