My gas door “cover” fell off at the gas station? I didn’t even realize there was a separate cover piece that just slid into place. I was confused as fuck.

Finally got my SportShifters knob and boot installed. Took me a few tries to find the right height but pretty happy with it now.

Alltracks didn’t sell at all due to a complete lack of effort on VWs part. They could have aggressively targeted the Subaru crowd and would have one many over with the people’s warranty.

Went to the car wash and when I got out to dry my car off I realized I hadn't put my microfiber towels back in the hatch after I ran them through the laundry. So I drove my car home wet and fumed about all the water spots it caused. When I got home I took one of my microfiber towels and soaked it, then section by section I went over the car with the wet towel followed by the dry towel and FINALLY it's clean and shiney and beautiful. I wish I had a driveway and hose and I could just do it all at home but such are the struggles of apartment living (sigh).

I also bought new windshield wipers and rubber floor mats, yay!

The trick is to drive faster when you leave the car wash. 120mph dries it right off. Lol

Lol if it makes you feel any better, my driveway is almost always too sunny so i still drive 15 minutes each way to the self serve wash
