Hi. Newbee here. Have an issue with vapor lock, only at high altitude on really hot days with extended run times. Issue has been consistent pre and post tuning. Anyone else run into this issue?
Only happens when ambient temp is above 90 degrees and car has been driven for two pluse hours. Live in Colorado at altitude; typicallly happens on the way up to the mountains (circa 7000+ ft) (although it has happended in Denver on 100 degree plus days).
07' GTI MKV Mods: APR Stage II, Neuspeed intake, Audi piston diverter valve, 3" downpipe with hi-flo cat, Neuspeed sport springs w/Koni FSD, Nuespeed torque mount, Rial Wheels, Falken FK452's.
I have tried changing fuel filter - no improvement. Light leakage at oil filler cap. Anyone try BSH PVC fix for vapor lock problems? Did it work? Alternative ideas/solutions?
