Bought it used w 32k miles on it. Very stock. First mod, tint

After that, I painted the Classixxs black

Then I installed FK Streetlines and Avant Garde M121s and some Hankooks

Palo Duro Canyon TX. My first 1000mile trip and very little issues or complaints. FKs started to get noisy. I think front strut bushings are going out which is weird cause the car only has 38k miles on it.....3k w the streetlines. (Fixed with 034 motorsports bushings)

Painted lower pieces

Went stage1 93 octane 8/18/13 (review below)

Overall, I am happy with this little GTI. Great car, fun to drive, looks classier than a scion or honda which are a dime a dozen in the DFW area.

Current Mods as of 8/18/13:
FK Streetlines
034 Motorsport strut bushings(stop squeaking)
Avant Garde M121s on Hankooks
Color matched lowers
APR stage1 93octane
Brembo slotted rotors and EBC pads
Revision D DV

Next Mods:
Weathertech digital fits
APR carbonio CAI
Some sort of bluetooth radio, undecided

Complaints:
rattles in weird areas
black carpets dirty in 3 minutes of use
Cup holders too small for my Route 44 sonic drink

Looks good! It'll look even sweeter once you colormatch it.

I got tired looking for a decent priced thunderbunny. The stealership had them for $700 and I didn't want to pay that. So I decided to sand and paint my stock pieces. That only cost me the paint

I see. That's a shame, I waited and waited for an opportunity to do my rear bumper, when finally a CW part out came along and was perfect for my CW car. Took his Thunderbunny rear and gave him my stock + $200
