For you guys who want solid rubber bushings cheap. There are also oem Audi A2 solid bushings, part number 8Z0407183 (14 euro each)
and Lemforder 2713501. Its considered better quality than Febi. Good luck to find them

Hi olegg

Does the A2 bushings fit the gti?

Looks good to me. VW has been pushing hard on the cross-brand, cross-vehicle part interchangeability idea, and this looks like a good example.

Where did you order from? From here http://www.teilesuche24.de/lemfoerder/lagerung-lenker-2713501?c=100572 ?

I've placed an order through them, but they canceled the order and said they're out of stock and will not have it in stock any time soon. This is so frustrating, it's a second place that does this to me  :help:
I ordered from the link that Mantus posted above:
http://www.micksgarage.com/proddetails.aspx?pid=1451234&pk=BEB54
At first they said that they were waiting on a shipment of the bushings, then the next day I got an email saying they are shipping them and even included a picture before shipping! Give them another try.

:mad0259: Two weeks ago they told me that they're not expecting them any time soon. I've just sent them another email.

You're in Canada too - how much did they charge you for shipping?

I think the shipping to B.C. was around 6 euro or pound, I dont quite remember which. I can tell you the 2 bushings+shipping was $32cdn.

Keden, I got mine no problem from Mick's - sorry that you're having a frustrating time. Check out this place:

http://www.sparepartstore24.co.uk/1889663-febi-bilstein

Hyde16 got them from here very easily. Good luck.

Thanks, Mantus. I've tried Spareparts24 about a month ago, and they've quoted me 50GBP in shipping. $80 in shipping for two little parts that weigh no more than half a kilo is a ripoff I think :(

I'll keep trying Micks Garage I guess...

Thanks to the good info in this thread and others similiar, I just placed an order for two of theses bushings for my 06 GLI. Recently turned 100k and front end is sloppy.

Now to address the other components so I have everything I need to tighten things back up, so I can install new tires and get an alignment.
