we get a refund if it doesnt work at all?

I'm trying to figure that out... So far Apple said they only refund if the App fails to download. Any content issues have to be taken up with the developer (they then send me to a non-existent web page on Dynolicious's site). I've filled in the "Support Form" there & haven't heard back yet.

If you read through the iTunes/App Store reviews, you'll see that these aren't isolated issues. It's just that people are voting 5 stars even though the app doesn't fully work. (My personal biased guess is that it's all the developer's friends & car club members jacking the rating)

Finally got a response... (If you've jailbroken your phone, wait until the update before purchasing. It really shouldn't affect the read/write access, but you never know.)

Thanks for your purchase of Dynolicious.

This is a known issue affecting jailbroken phones. We have not seen
it affect any phones with factory configuration. If you have this
problem and your phone is not jailbroken, please let us know. Users
have been able to work around this issue by restoring their phones to
the original software. Otherwise, we will attempt to have this fixed
in the next update, as soon as possible.

Ok, all works now... For those who jailbroke, update SQLite through Cydia and everything then works (at least for me and a few others spoken with). There's a few Dynolicious notes on the Cydia Welcome page too (under the SQLite tab).

wacky.. Ive had no problems with mine.. the only problem is I cant find a decent stretch of road to try this on.

My friend downloaded Gtac for his touch so we thought we would try it out.

I started messing around with it before he was really ready to make some runs and found something interesting. Just starting off from a light in traffic i would start the reading, the MPH would climb no matter what he was doing. It would end up showing the 1/4 in 16.2 at 112mph when we hadnt even gone over 60mph yet.

Again this was not properly attached to the car just sitting in my hand, but it was very odd.

Someone in the comments section said this might work for the ipod touch...anyone know if that's true? I would think you would have to be in a WiFi area though for that to work.

LOL +1 on that. It would make my development much easier to actually see what code they wrote and deconstruct the workings that way
