The APR site sent me to Axels Automotive in Lake Bluff.
I talked to them and got a great feeling from his feed back.

The City of VW (VW dealership) does APR I'm pretty sure. Conrad is one of the service managers or something. He's a good guy. I've met him at a few CVO meets before.

I called the other dealer that does APR, Bill Jacobs Volkswagen in Naperville,IL and talked to there service manager.
Any reason any one would not go to a dealer to get chipped ?
Seems like a no brainier. At lest there is no problem trying to hide it when you go in for service.

Yeah, it's probably a little more expensive, but other than that, I don't see any problems.

Prices are set by APR, not the individual dealers. The only thing that will differ is the labor charge.

Just got my new APR stage 1 chip today!!!
HOLY #^#&#%&^ it ROCKS.
It feels like the front wheels and the engine is going to rip out of the car.
It never stops PULLLLLLLLLLLLLING.
If any one is on the fence about this with and chip jump off and get it ASAP.
My fast is very happy

Dubwerks is strictly GIAC. They have a contract with them, so they can't even touch your car if you have APR or Evo on it and want to do anything else. My cousin chipped his Passat there a month ago. They did a kickass job, it's faster than my stock GTI
