see i dont get it as we didnt wait but i know the feeling, as i get a similar one when monday comes around and i gotta get back in my SSS for the entire week until saturday where i can actually drive it(or be in it).

Given that l ordered my car a month before you Kirium, l'm feeling a bit peeved. Anyway, my car's being built this week so hopefully l should have it late June / early July.

Well after the long journey across the Indian Ocean, she's at the dealership... Dealer tells me I can probably pick her up toward the end of the week... :thumbsup:

You know what's worse than waiting 6 months for this car?? It's that it'll be sitting there at the end of the week waiting for me and I can't pick it up until Monday next week... :mad:

It'll give me time to get finance in order at least... :biggrin:

Congrats, my man. Mine's still on the ship :rolleyes: Hopefully be picking it up towards the end of this week as well.

That's weird.. Mine got built yesterday (22/5) and VW Australia told me about 8 weeks for delivery plus one week at Patricks. I hope your right lefti04, I'd reckon both our cars would be on the same ship going by our build date.

Congratulations Kirium...looks like l should have ordered my car from a Sydney dealer. My car, having arrived in Melbourne 2 days before yours' docked in Sydney, l'm still waiting.....no word from the dealer. Very very frustrating!!!! :iono:

Congrats also Kirium... my car seems to have entered a black hole at the Melbourne port. No idea what's going on or when I'll be able to pick it up.

I can just picture the wharfies joy riding in the gti's down there. Not going to be too impressed if there's over 50kms on the clock when I eventually collect the car.

you wouldnt know there could be upto 399 on the clock before you get it and you would enver know as the dealer can zero it 2 times before 200k...so could do 199k then zero it and do another 199 k then 0 it again.
