so i just installed ko4 kit and im trying to figure out what is causing this problem. it only happens when the car is pretty cool and i havent driven it too hard maybe for 15-20 min after start up. so ill be getting on the highway in 3rd gear, and floor it and the boost gauge will spike to 30 psi or above. i also threw a cel,

i have an O2 spacer in as well.

all my other mods are in my sig.

could this be a vacuum leak problem?

tomorrow im going to check the N75 valve, any other recommendations for things i should check.

i just dont feel comfortable with the fact that it is boosting so high as i dont believe that is normal. also what could be causing the engine running lean?

thanks for the input guys!

well the things that control boost levels, or prevent the turbo from overboosting is the n75 valve and the wastegate. can you log the n75 cycle? and your engine is running lean cause your over boosting, lol not enough fuel being shot in their for that 30psi.

Adam,

I posted this in your main build thread, but wanted to post here as well to make sure you saw it.

The overboosting problem you're experiencing sounds like an N75 valve issue. Can you make sure its installed properly and email me the logs once you have them?

My email is aderderian@awe-tuning.com. Once I have them I'll show them to our team and see what they think.

alex, ill do that today and email them to you tonight. i looked at the valve last night and didnt see that any of the lines were damaged. do you have a diagram the i could see to make sure the hoses are connected to the right places?

is it possible that my boost gauge is malfunctioning? ill do a boost log to see the actual pressure. is that a possibility?
