Yeah but thats why i kept the 98 wrx which is the track car. Its not registered anymore however and it may as well be a pot plant holder unless there is a trackday on:laugh: but its great fun when i get it out for a run. Anyway its all good now though, got my new toy.:smile:

Not really...I'm not racing as much as I used to back in the day. I was doing track stuff locally w/car buddies and of course RWD was the way to go. Nowadays, I just every now and then speed and take a spirited drive. I wanted more space for people and cargo and better gas mileage and the GTI fit the bill. I just need to stay out of boost to make that gas mileage work but it's soooooooo good.
