Thanks for the photos, Biggy. I can never get too much CW. For anyone who might be curious about the 3mm spacers--these are only required to clear the rear brake calipers on Rabbits and R32s. GTI owners won't need the spacers.

Yes it would... wonder how easy it would be to get them painted/powdercoated... Well, how expensive rather lol

Powder coating can be tricky, you would have to go to a shop that really knows what they are doing when it comes to heat treating the wheel.

Painting wouldn't be too hard. It would just be a hard thing to do, scuffing up a new wheel and all to paint it. IF you got the balls to do it, painting on a new wheel is pretty easy though. Clean it with alcohol and then scuff it up with a wet sand with some 600 grit paper. Then paint and clear coat.

It's just that scuffing up a brand new set of wheels is scary, nerve wracking stuff.
