I dunno how many other people have had this issue as it isn't a common one, but basically it's this:
The Throttle Body wiring harness isn't long enough, so when your engine torques at hi rpm's or under hard shifts, it pulls it out a little bit and the car goes into limp mode. After this happens you have to unplug your battery to reset the computer.
For me, It only happens when I run my Stage 1 programming, and not when I'm on the stock program (happened once on a bad shift). It took me over a year to figure this out, but when I called APR (thinking it might be something with the programming) they knew exactly what it was.
Now, I haven't fixed this yet, b/c I don't know what it entails. Apparently there is a TSB out about it, and I called and ordered the parts, but those totaled about 90$.
Has anyone else gone through this and had it done? If so, did you do the fix yourself?
I'd really love some insight into this b/c I'd love to just fix it myself.
Thanks!
