G'day' Just wondering if anyone has taken there GTi's over the quarter mile & if so what times & speeds did you get? (Please list Mods if any.)
I am most likely going to take mine out to WSID (eastern Creek) next Wednesday night weather permitting. :evil:

TinyGTI did 13.7 i think it was with remapped ECU, exhaust and intake. There are a few at the Heathcote drag day down here as we speak so you should get a few results form that tonight or tomorrow.

mine is GIAC'd too and i got almost the same/
14.202 @ 98
that was my first ever launch on a drag strip so it was a soft launch.
wasn't sure what to expect.

IML337 has run his stock Mk5 GTI, think he got 14.5 or thereabouts. From memory, it was a shade quicker than his old MCS which ran 14.6 with 15% AmD pulley & remap.

Hope this works it didn"t come out to dark.

Anyway DSG using Launch control on street tyres & still had a little traction loss. I think conservatively it would run a 13.5/13.6 on slicks
