Look to the left of the intake manifold on the head. That's the cam sensor. Takes 2 min to replace

O shit, looks easy to get to!
Are there any other special steps to replacing? Or just take it out and put new one in

Why do you have to replace it? I broke the clip on mine, but it still holds just fine.

Have you scanned it to make sure its the cam sensor? Just curious, dont need to spend money if you dont have to.

yeah, but i cleared the codes after replacing it and the code is back. im pretty sure its a timing issue, the car is in a permanent limp mode and is stalling when coming to a stop and will not build any boost. im pretty sre i fucked something up when i manually rotated the crank for valve cleaning.

I don't see how you can break the cam position sensor just by manually cranking the engine. I did it and my roommate did it and both of our cars are fine. Sure it's not something else causing that code? I know our low pressure fuel sensors can go bad (I think that's the right one) and it's $55 from the dealer.

Also, your g247 sensor is under in the intake mani if you didnt know. Im having issues with my fueling and just replaced it.

Also Autozone has a cam sensor for 35 with a lifetime warranty. I almost picked up one up until i realized i just up plugged mine for some reason.
Good Luck!

Dammit I really dont want to take the intake mani off again. Sounds like the fuel sensor might have a connection problem

Yes, its not hard to remove the mani just annoying.

I might have to try to trace down the wiring to see if I pinched or broke something my self

My problem with removing the mani is that if the injectors come out with it again ill probably have to buy a new seal kit. And ive taken ot off like 3 times and am not gonna do it again

Car is going to the dealer on monday for a timing belt and they will figure it out. Its gona cost a fuck ton but im Done working on this car for a long time
