Verdict: Exactly what I was looking for. Sporty (for lack of a better word) when cruising around town (or in the highway) but throaty in the higher RPMs. The DSG "farts" can be done in any gear (if shifted manually at ~4500rpm under load), and now that APR dialed in the DSG with the V3 release, it's a blast to do it every time.

It mounts up directly. The 3 downpipe has a 2.5" reduction, so it mounts up to the stock exhaust or in my case, the Euro Sport one.

It only shifted early in one instance (easy take off), and yes it was in D mode, trying to simulate a normal take off (I don't do those much). The others were either in S or in manual mode, with some throttle modulation.
