which is the stiffer of the two - or I one knows of a stiffer spring not mentioned feel free to post. Can really find what I am looking for. On my current s/u I am rubbing with the H&R springs and was wondering if running a stiffer spring would prevent my rears for rubbing. The fender well is a little different in the A3 compared to GTI -- in real world this relates to A3 having to run a more conservative wheel offset.

current s/u: billstein sports - 225/40/18 potenza re-11s - 18"x8" et 45 wheels

Thanks

they have pretty much the same spring rate... but for some reasons, the H&R Sports ride wayyyyyyy harsher than the Neuspeeds

I'm running H&R sports and 19x8.5 ET48 wheels... I do not rub a bit, do not scrape my front lip either... didn't even need to do that fender liner bolt removal thing

Neuspeeds are softer than H&Rs. the rates are 225lbs. front, and 350lbs. rear. H&R refuses to release their rates. I have Bilstein Sports and Neuspeed Sports on 18x8 45ET wheels with 225/40 Bridgestone RE-01Rs and never rub...I think your offset is too aggressive, the stiffer springs might help you though, no clue because I don't know the rate of the H&R's in the rear. Why not roll your rear fenders if you like the handling/ride though? It's cheaper than getting new springs and saves you another install.

From softest to firmest: Neuspeed Sport, Eibach Pro-Kit, H&R Sport.

I called H&R and they released their spring rates to me. It was about 265 in lbs for the H&R vs about 225 in lbs for Neuspeed sports
