Euro MkV

So I have been living in Europe for almost a year now for work and noticed one thing here in MkV GTIs and R32s, haven't paid much attention to the MkVIs. None of the GTIs and R32s have radio controls on the steering wheel. I see about 2 a day and always look for it. So here is a question to the fellow Euro crew, was this feature never offered in Europe or did European customers just never order it?

its available , but as an optional add one , just like the BI-Xenon headlights that come stock on U.S on gti's
