I follow a handful of VW pages such as vw_lifestyle, southeasteuro, humblemechanic, vw.insta, mk7owners, vag_offroad, and some smaller pages.

Just deleted my insta a few weeks ago. Turned into nothing but ads

I considered ditching IG a year ago when I left FB since they're co-owned. Instead, I deleted the IG app and visit only through the Brave browser with ads disabled (I use Brave ONLY for IG). I don't see ANY ads; but I also don't see as much content since they're throttling me as a consequence. I don't know if my own content is withheld from potential followers. I still get a few new followers from time to time; so, I'm still growing (633 followers since 2018). Still, less content means I waste less time on their platform and get on with my day.

My IG shares are almost exclusively my GTI or things that I do with it. I try to stay consistent with my content, although I don't post very consistently.
