I went to High School in a border town (albeit over 20 years ago). This is something that people in other places could never understand. I think it's just as irresponsible to drop these people off as it is to not secure the border, but what are they supposed to do? A plane ticket or chartered bus certainly costs a lot less than feeding and housing all of these people indefinitely.
