I'm looking for a reputable shop near Jacksonville, NC to do a complete carbon cleaning on my intake (I don't know how or trust myself to do it). The dealership quoted $911 just for the service not including labor. Sounds extremely high to me. Is there a place that you've used and trust or am I shit out of luck?

Or, if you know what you're doing and need some extra money, how much would you charge?

Is that really what they told you? Sounds like you need to go to a new dealer.. The entire job is all labour, so adding a labour charge to that would be you getting ripped off

That's what I was thinking. I know the woke is a pain in the ass but over 1k is crazy. I did find a place in Raleigh that specialize in Audi and VW, they said it would be under $500 which sounds about right.

I got a quote from my tuning shop for somewhere a little over $400. It's not work they want to do either.
