Replacement Fenders

Does anyone have experience replacing the front fenders? Both of my front fenders have developed a big rust spot at the top edge of the wheel opening.

ECS Tuning has a replacement for $89.95, it seems too cheep.

Any suggestions for where to find a salvage fender. I would really rather just get a junkyard in the same color and avoid having to get it painted, but I called several salvage companies with no luck.

Go to your VW dealer there is a TSB covering this, you may get free fenders. Search this forum and you will find it

That is great news. Somebody else gets to fix this.

Depends what VW has to say, take it to dealer and they will take pictures send them to Vw for a review to determine if they will cover it or not.
