R32 making strange noises under hard acceleration.???

Hi All,

I was giving the car a bit of a boot tonight when something seemed to disagree under the hood. when ever i rev the ca harder than 6000 rpm it screetches.. ??

I have DSG and the car in an M07 R32... any ideas. it was not making this the past few days but now when ever i plant my foot the the floor it sounds like a fan belt screetching sound... ill have to take it to VW monday just wanted to see if anyone else has heard this issue before.

Avoid revving past 6000rpm. And yeah take all these issues to dealer and get a quote first if not under warranty.

Hey guys, got the car back the other day but have been a bit slack to reply.

That you tube clip isnt the same sound mine was making. It only screeched when it was pushed past 5500 rpm.

Turns out the dipshit who re-gased the AC earlier on the day the noise started depleted too much gas. That made the AC compressor screetch when under load... Go figure

VW were so quick to fix it and also fixed the AC cooling issue. wait for it... FOR FREE... car came out of warranty... only just.
